Monday 11th October saw the Area Sq 7-a-side team take on a mixed agents team comprising of the best property agents and footballers the City had to offer. The stakes were high with the losing team donating £100 to Area Sq's chosen charity, The Shooting Star Children's Hospice.
The Area Sq team, captained by Sales Director Oliver Hammond, arrived in good time to start their warm up, which predominately involved 45 minutes of firing balls as hard as possible at the goalkeeper, Steve White.
Some great football was on display from both teams, including some blistering goals from Ed Betts of H2SO. Ben Deacon of EA Shaw was another great performer making some superb saves to keep the Area Sq score down.
After 30 minutes of play, the score reflected the tight competition between the teams with the Agents ahead 11 goals to 10 at the final whistle.
It was a great evening had by all and the Area Sq team are looking forward to arranging more fixtures in the future.
