Fourfront Group announces financial results for 2008/09

The Fourfront Group, one of the UK's leading commercial interior specialists consisting of Area Sq, Cube Interior Solutions, 360 Design Studios and Sketch Studios is announcing record sales of £39.6 million for the year to 30th April 2009.

Clive Lucking, the Group Managing Director comments: "Despite a difficult economic climate, our Group Companies have been performing exceptionally well and we have exceeded our targets for the year."

Area Sq, the design and fit-out specialists have secured a number of key contracts in both London and regions worth over £24m. The pharmaceutical sector has offered many opportunities, including new Head Offices for United Therapeutics in Chertsey and Coloplast in Peterborough.

We have also undertaken projects within the Public Sector including Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust’s new Sexual Health Clinic at 56 Dean Street in Soho and the Institute of Highways and Transportations' office in the City of London which was officially opened in March by HRH The Princess Royal.

Cube Interior Solutions, the Commercial Interior Contracting specialists have achieved sales of over £10 m which is an increase of over 30% on last year. They have completed a number of CAT A and refurbishment projects including Geodis Wilson in Feltham, John Lewis in Magna Park and 30 Sackville Street in W1.

Sketch Studios, the Furniture Solutions provider have also gone from strength to strength with a £5.2 million turnover, working in partnership with the Fourfront Group companies to supply furniture to major clients including Future Electronics, Serco and Lonza.

Building on their success with the National Skills Academy in Norwich, 360 Design Studios, our Design Consultancy, have continued their Public Sector work with feasibility and design work on behalf of Waverley and Eastleigh Borough Council, together with innovative schemes for Aviva, MEPC and Talaris.

"This year we have focused on remaining financially strong and have excellent prospects for the coming year. We are also proud to have created an in-house Environmental Management System and implemented a number of measures which has resulted in us gaining ISO 14001 accreditation".
