Motability Operations, the Company operating the Motability Scheme on behalf of the national charity, Motability, helping disabled people with their personal mobility, have appointed Area Sq to modernise their four buildings on Bristol Business Park into innovative and environmentally-friendly offices to improve visitors' experience and bring each building up to a grade A office facility for its c.550 employees based in Bristol.
Considered design throughout the 80,000 sq ft Campus will optimise the layout, functionality and efficiency of each building and ensure longevity.
Environmental considerations were an important part of the brief, with all of the buildings to be refurbished in line with recommendations and guidelines set out within the BREEAM* and Ska** accreditation process, as well as achieving "design exemplary" in terms of access.
The two year programme is due to be completed in March 2013.
