Throughout the audit process, the feedback has been excellent and Lead Auditor Clive Petitt stated: "your commitment to your Environmental Management System and pushing your Group forward environmentally is outstanding". Fourfront Group was especially commended for their Management commitment and communications.
Clive Lucking, Fourfront Group's Managing Director comments: "Our wide-ranging environmental initiatives have included reducing waste on site, launching a "reuse, reduce, recycle" initiative and other more hands-on schemes such as volunteering days to offset our carbon footprint and introducing a cycling scheme for Fourfront employees. This resulted in the Group becoming Carbon Negative and being recognised as one of the top 60 UK Green Companies by the Sunday Times which we were extremely proud of."
Clive continues: "Whenever possible, we endeavour to source environmentally-friendly materials, and always favour locally sourced products, which can be recycled or reused, or are made from recycled materials. Our employees are fully committed to minimising the environmental impact of our activities and everyone at Fourfront is accountable for our environmental performance. Our consistent environmental message and initiatives have played an important part in educating our supply chain and transforming our internal processes."
