Fourfront Group Recommended for ISO14001 Re-Certification without Condition

The Fourfront Group are delighted to report that they have received recommendation for the re-certification of the ISO14001 International Standard for Environmental Performance without any conditions.

The Fourfront Group were officially accredited back in 2009 by VCA who are certified by UKAS (the UK governing body), ensuring the Group met the actual requirements of ISO14001.

The feedback from this audit was excellent and Clive Petitt (VCA Lead Auditor) stated "Your commitment to your Environmental Management System and pushing your Group forward environmentally is outstanding."  The Group were especially commended for their Management commitment and communications.

In order to gain the accreditation the commercial interior specialists' in-house Environmental Management Team developed an Environmental Management System that met the stringent ISO14001 standards and complied with applicable regulations. They showed an extensive understanding of the Group's environmental impacts and proved how they had greatly reduced these. The most significant environmental impact was identified as waste to landfill and the Group had to demonstrate effective waste management on all sites and to this end, created recycle and reuse programmes.
