On Sunday 17th September, 15 runners from the Group took part in the Trees for Cities Tree-Athlon in Battersea Park to raise money for the London based charity which works with local communities on tree planting and regeneration projects in urban areas.
With times ranging between 21 and 29 minutes and over £600 raised for the charity, a great effort was made by all.
In addition to the 5km fun run, Area Sq and the Fourfront Group have an ongoing partnership with Trees for Cities to offset our carbon emissions.
The following day, a group of Fourfront cyclists took part in the Palace to Palace ride, The Prince's Trust’s annual 45-mile bike ride which sees 3000 people cycle from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle.
The day was a great success with all but one of the team completing the cycle. We wish Lee Horsman a swift recovery after being knocked off and dislocating his collar bone.
