On Thursday 27th January Area Sq organised a wine tasting event at La Fromagerie in Marylebone for Out of Town Property Agents from leading practices including Knight Franck, Savills, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, BNP Paribas, DTZ, GVA Grimley, King Sturge, and Strutt & Parker.
La Fromagerie - which was originally fitted out by Area Sq sister company, Cube Interior Solutions - is a high-end Delicatessen whose cheese shop is recognised as being one of the best in England.
Nine Agents teams representing each company and two Area Sq teams took part in a Quiz around French cheeses and wines. The evening saw the teams travel through the different French regions, sampling the best cheese and wine that each had to offer.
Tim Young and his team from BNP Paribas won the top prize of a La Fromagerie hamper. Second place went to the Strutt and Parker team, captained by Jamie Renison, with the Cushman & Wakefield team, captained by Andrew Agnew, coming a close third.
The evening was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all as Tim Young comments, "My sincere thanks go to the Area Sq team for putting on a truly brilliant evening at La Fromagerie! It was an inspired choice and for me, the perfect subject!"
