PokerStars appoint Area Sq to design and fit-out their new office space
Area Sq, the office design and fit-out specialists have been appointed by PokerStars to design and fit-out their new office space at Regent Arcade House, Argyll Street, London W1.
PokerStars is the world’s largest poker site and the home of tournament poke r, attracting over 300,000 players at any one time to compete in the world’s largest tournaments. The demand for the expansion of the business has created the need for additional office space. As a result, PokerStars have occupied an additional 11,000sq ft area in their current building on Argyll Street.
It has been lead designer, Amanda Godwin-Jones’s job to ensure that the design fully reflects PokerStars’s style, ethics and personality. It was also important to PokerStars not to over play the poker element in the design. Amanda has done surperb work in designing a space that is not only unique and modern but has the subtle theme of poker that the client were after.
