Area are on site to deliver internet security solutions provider McAfee’s 20,000 sq ft new workplace in Slough.

McAfee’s relocation to Slough will play a pivotal role in the relaunch of its brand, and have selected the Urban Building, a contemporary office facility which offers an up-to-date reception area and café.

In-keeping with their modern building selection, McAfee’s future workplace has been expertly designed to provide a contemporary setting that showcases their new brand identity. Area are tasked with delivering an agile workspace which facilitates transient working, whilst also efficiently utilising the available square footage.

The space will feature a variety of working platforms, including a breakout hub, an innovation zone, and a number of informal meeting areas, and will be connected by a visually-striking central staircase. Aligning with McAfee’s new brand identity, visual cues of the ‘M’ logo and their red and white colour palette will be utilised throughout their new space.

Spencer Meredith, project director for Area, comments: “This will be the fourth time Area has worked with McAfee, having previously completed workplace projects in Amsterdam, Brighton and Aylesbury; and we are thrilled to be able to continue our journey with them by delivering their latest project in Slough.”

The project is on site now and is expected to complete in November 2017.
