Waggener Edstrom
Location: Covent Garden, London
Size: 6,000 sq ft
Contract Value: £200,000
Project Overview
The vision of Julie Curtis, Project Director at Waggener Edstrom, was to create a smart, young, chic and modern interior which wouldn't date easily. Julie wanted to achieve an 'openness' and ease of communication within a relaxed environment and 'connectivity', encouraging interaction between departments, colleagues and visitors.
Result
Flooded with light, the space has been designed around contrasts: white walls, wooden floors, rich browns and earthy colours furnishing create a stunning look. The white walls have been used as backdrop for Waggener's artwork.
The main design feature is a timeline wall as you walk into the office. The bespoke black and white wallpaper which portrays the company history, really makes an impact.
The staff break-out area uses splashes of colours to create a sixties feel. With low seating and wide screen TV, staff can relax, eat, play games, or have informal meetings.
'People love our new office, the final results looks fantastic. It really is a statement of who we are as a company' says Julie Curtis.
