UK Payments Administration Ltd is a service company providing people, facilities and expertise to the UK payments industry. Employing over 150 people, UK Payments employ specialists that are recognised and consulted by organisations across the world.
The company decided to relocate to Thomas More Square and appointed Area Sq as office design and fit-out specialists.
UK Payments occupy both the 2nd and 3rd floors and wanted their offices to have a modern feel, as well as being both warm and welcoming. The space also had to reflect UK Payments' innovative culture and maximise the use of natural light.
To this end, Area Sq designed the space around glass partitioning allowing the light to flow freely. Furthermore, by introducing new ceilings and lighting, Area Sq was able to enhance this feeling of space.
Kat Wickens, Designer at Area Sq adds: "The use of wood subtly used within the design gave a feeling of warmth and quality and was complemented by the neutral tones used on the walls and flooring."
The project was completed on time and on budget and UK Payments are delighted with the results.
