August Equity is an independent private equity firm based in Covent Garden. Previously based at 10 Bedford St, the company moved to a more suitable and efficient workplace on Slingsby Place.
The client wanted to create an open plan workspace, allowing privacy as well as better communication between members of staff. The level of finish had to portray a successful private equity house without being too lavish.
August Equity took possession of the space in Cat A condition with feature hardwood floor and fixed floor box locations. Faced with the challenge of integrating the existing floor boxes with the new design, the Area Sq team had to be very accurate in their space planning and furniture layout to ensure the space was both creative and functional.
The furniture was supplied by Sketch Studios, a sister company of Area Sq.
The crisp and fresh scheme maximises the natural light by enabling it to flow through the space, creating a stylish & elegant environment that embodies the professionalism and success of the company.
