We run a number of training and development initiatives under what is known as The Fourfront Academy.
All of our training programmes are real, interesting, practical and engaging. We invest three times the national average on training for our staff via “The Fourfront Academy”, which ensures that our people are the best in their field.
This year, not only are we continuing with our internal mentoring programme which includes more than a third of our employees, we are also launching a modular based programme to raise skill levels in our people managers. Employee engagement is vital to our success and we see our people managers as a real influence in this.
Women in Fourfront
The “Women in Fourfront” programme recently won the Thames Valley Women in Business Enlightened Employer Award. Designed specifically to help women working in what is generally a very ‘male’ environment, is a workshop-style learning environment with quarterly meetings and coaching between each session.
NextGen is a young professional business network within Fourfront Group designed to support career progression and attract new talent. The aim is to accelerate skills development and connect young people within the business by creating a forum for innovation and feeding their expertise back into the business. The programme includes site visits, seminars, workshops forums and training sessions. We have also implemented a Graduate scheme enabling us to bring fresh new talent to our business.
All of this good stuff contributes towards us being a Top 100 Company to work for as voted by Best Companies. And when we say ‘contribute towards’ that’s because we do lots of other things really well too!
